PTC completed its first PTC Academy Live Online Training Course for 2020. A fitting milestone as the usual in person event was reformatted to an online format as a consequence of COVID-19. There was a significant amount of re-imagineering involved to get it right.
From my perspective, it worked very well, with technology coming to the rescue to allow the coursework to be delivered seamlessly, while still maintaining the ability for participants to be able to interact with the instructors. We even managed to deliver one module as a workshop with breakout rooms that exceeded our expectations. Given the nature and history of the PTC organization, it is only natural that technology plays a key part in our outreach programs. – Eric Handa
