APTelecom client Inligo Networks has appointed Ramasamy Chockalingam, a former finance director at Telstra International, as its new CFO to lead the company’s global financial and regulatory functions across several countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and the US.
Chockalingam’s appointment will bring significant financial knowledge and telecommunications experience to Inligo’s executive team as it moves into the construction phase of its proposed undersea cable that will link Indonesia and Australia to the US and a terrestrial fibre link from Darwin to Melbourne. Inligo’s CEO, Brian Evans, said Chockalingam’s appointment is a significant advantage for the company given his depth of telecommunications and regulatory experience throughout the Asian region, as they move into the construction phase of ACC-1 towards the end of 2023. APTelecom’s pre sales efforts were noted as a sales partner for the cable project.
