APTelecom has been appointed as a specialist subcontractor for the USTDA-supported feasibility study for Stavian Digital Park, a proposed hyperscale artificial intelligence and cloud campus in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Led by Cushman & Wakefield, the study will assess the technical, commercial and financial viability of the development, which has a Phase 1 target of 300 megawatts of power capacity by 2030.
As part of the study, APTelecom will lead the telecommunications connectivity and digital infrastructure work, while contributing to market development, commercialisation strategy and financial modelling. Its scope includes domestic and international connectivity, network resilience, carrier-neutral access and the infrastructure requirements of hyperscale cloud and AI workloads. The proposed carrier-neutral campus would form part of a 300-hectare master-planned development and is designed to provide access to as much as 200 Tb/s of international subsea connectivity.
The Stavian Digital Park is also described as complementary to MViSTA, Stavian’s proposed open submarine cable system connecting Vietnam with Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
