APTelecom Partners with Super Sistem on BTI Subsea Cable Project

APTelecom has been selected by Indonesian company Super Sistem to lead the feasibility study for the Barat Timur Indonesia (BTI) subsea cable system. This initiative aims to enhance broadband internet capacity in remote and underserved areas of Indonesia, connecting Batam, Jakarta, and Manado with seven landing stations spanning over 4,700 kilometers. Supported by a grant from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), the project is set to drive economic growth and facilitate digital connectivity across the Indonesian archipelago.

APTelecom’s involvement underscores its commitment to advancing digital infrastructure in emerging markets, aligning with USTDA’s mission to expand access to affordable connectivity and secure digital infrastructure worldwide.
