APTelecom and DXN to Deliver Next-Generation Modular Cable Landing Station

In a significant step forward for global connectivity infrastructure, APTelecom has entered into a partnership with DXN Limited to design, build and deploy a prefabricated modular Cable Landing Station (CLS). DXN, a specialist in turnkey modular data centre solutions, has secured a contract valued at approximately US$1.3 million to deliver this strategically important CLS.

The module will be constructed at DXN’s Perth facility with design and build phases commencing in November 2025, positioning the solution for rapid deployment to support APTelecom’s cable-landing infrastructure projects. The prefabricated approach aligns with both companies’ commitment to agile, scalable, and resilient subsea connectivity infrastructure.

This collaboration signals a ready response to the growing momentum in subsea and digital infrastructure markets – especially as emerging economies and underserved regions scale connectivity, latency-sensitive services proliferate, and network resilience becomes ever more critical. By combining APTelecom’s project management capabilities with DXN’s modular manufacturing strengths, the partnership is well positioned to deliver robust and future-proof landing station infrastructure.
